How to use the crop, rotate and flip image
Choose a shape such as square, 4:3, 16:9 or the original proportions, or crop freely. Rotating and flipping happen before the crop.
- Drop your photo on the box.
- Rotate or flip it if needed.
- Pick a shape, then drag the box and its corners to choose the area.
- Tap Crop image and download.
Questions
Does cropping reduce quality?
No. The area you keep stays at its original resolution. Only the parts outside the box are removed.
What shape should a profile photo be?
Square (1:1) for WhatsApp, LinkedIn and Instagram profile pictures. Use 9:16 for Instagram and WhatsApp stories.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. Your photo is processed by your own browser and never sent to a server. You can even switch on airplane mode after the page loads.
