How to use the resize image

Resizing changes the pixel dimensions. Making an image smaller keeps it sharp; making it much larger can’t add detail that wasn’t there, so it may look soft.

  1. Drop your photo on the box.
  2. Type a new width or height. With "Keep proportions" ticked, the other side updates for you.
  3. Or switch to Percent and use the slider.
  4. Tap Resize image and download.

Questions

Will enlarging a photo make it sharper?
No. Making an image bigger than the original spreads the same detail over more pixels, so it can look soft.
What if I untick "Keep proportions"?
The image is stretched to the exact size you enter. To change the shape without stretching, crop it first with the exam photo resizer.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. Your photo is processed by your own browser and never sent to a server. You can even switch on airplane mode after the page loads.
