Merge PDF

Put several PDFs together into one document, in any order you like.

Your files stay on this device. Processing happens in your browser.

How to use the merge PDF

Merging is useful when a form asks for a single upload but you have separate documents, such as an application, ID proof and certificates.

  1. Drop two or more PDF files on the box, or tap it to choose them.
  2. Move files up or down until they are in the order you want.
  3. Tap Merge PDFs, then download the combined file.

Questions

Is there a limit on how many files I can merge?
There is no fixed limit. Very large files depend on your device’s memory; on most phones, up to a few hundred pages in total works well.
Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?
No. The file is read and rebuilt by your own browser using JavaScript. It never leaves your device, which is why this works even if you go offline after the page loads.
Will the merged PDF keep links and bookmarks?
Page content, images and text are kept exactly. Bookmarks (the outline panel) from the original files are not carried over.
Why does it say my PDF is password-protected?
PDFs with an open password or editing restrictions are encrypted, and this tool can’t change them without the password. Open the file in a PDF reader, save an unprotected copy, and try again.
