How to use the split PDF
The tool copies the pages you choose into a new PDF inside your browser. Pages are copied as they are, not re-rendered, so text stays sharp and searchable and file quality doesn’t drop.

How do I write the page numbers?
Separate pages with commas and use a dash for a range.
1-3, 6, 9-10 gives you pages 1, 2, 3, 6, 9 and 10, in that order.Does splitting reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied as they are, so text stays sharp and images are untouched.
Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?
No. The file is read and rebuilt by your own browser using JavaScript. It never leaves your device, which is why this works even if you go offline after the page loads.
Why does it say my PDF is password-protected?
PDFs with an open password or editing restrictions are encrypted, and this tool can’t change them without the password. Open the file in a PDF reader, save an unprotected copy, and try again.
