Questions
Will my photos lose quality?
JPG images are placed in the PDF exactly as they are, with no recompression. PNG and WebP images are kept losslessly as PNG.
My PDF is too large for an upload form. What can I do?
Shrink the photos first with the image compressor, then convert them. Photos straight from a phone camera are often 3 to 5 MB each.
Can I add HEIC photos from an iPhone?
Not yet. On an iPhone, choose "Most Compatible" in Settings > Camera > Formats, or share the photo as JPG first.
Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?
No. The file is read and rebuilt by your own browser using JavaScript. It never leaves your device, which is why this works even if you go offline after the page loads.
