Loan eligibility calculator
Get a quick estimate of the loan amount banks may approve for you.
Runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent anywhere.
You could borrow up to—
- Maximum EMI
- —
- Total you’d repay
- —
Your existing EMIs already use the share of income banks allow.
Banks also look at your credit score, age, job stability and, for home loans, the property value (they usually lend up to 75 to 90 percent of it). Treat this as a guide.
How to use the loan eligibility calculator
Lenders cap your total EMIs at a share of your income, called FOIR (fixed obligations to income ratio). Each lender sets its own share, so you can change it here.
- Enter your monthly take-home pay and any EMIs you already pay.
- Keep 50% as the EMI limit, or adjust it.
- Enter the interest rate and tenure you expect.
- Read the maximum loan and EMI.
Understanding your result
The result is the largest loan whose EMI, added to your existing EMIs, stays within the share of income you set. Lenders choose that share themselves and also make their own checks, so treat the figure as a starting point for conversations with lenders.
