KPSC photo and signature size

Checked on 27 October 2026. A guide from Gauritanaya.

On 27 October 2026 the notification list on kpsc.kar.nic.in included Gazetted Probationers 2026-27 and a corrigendum extending online applications to 7 September 2026. The Commission’s PDF did not open during this check. This page does not put an unverified kilobyte figure into a preset. Read the PDF on kpsc.kar.nic.in and type those numbers yourself.

Open the resizer and type the KPSC numbers

The short answer

There is no KPSC preset on the resizer. A current photograph or signature size could not be confirmed from a file served by the Karnataka Public Service Commission on 27 October 2026.

What was confirmed is the Commission’s own notification list. It includes a notification for Gazetted Probationers 2026-27 for 319 Group A and B posts, and a corrigendum extending the last date for the online application to 7 September 2026. The list does not, by itself, state a pixel size or a KB size.

What was not confirmed

Other websites describe a notification dated 31 July 2026, number KPSCKA/EXA1/EXMF/9/2026-EXAM-1/I/251710/2026, as asking for a JPEG photograph up to 200 KB and a JPEG signature up to 70 KB. Those sentences were not read from a PDF on kpsc.kar.nic.in. They are not loaded into the tool. If your copy of the Commission’s PDF says something else, the PDF wins.

Open the resizer on My own size

  1. Download the Gazetted Probationers notification, or the notification for the post you are applying to, from kpsc.kar.nic.in.
  2. Find the photograph and signature lines. Note the format, any pixels, and the minimum and maximum KB.
  3. On the resizer, choose My own size and replace the numbers already in the boxes. Those starting numbers (350 × 450 px and 20–200 KB for a photo) are the tool’s ordinary default. They are not a KPSC size. Do not use the IBPS or NEET preset for a KPSC form.

If the portal says the file is too small

Some portals re-check the width and height after you upload, or they strip extra data from the JPEG. When a picture is still under the minimum KB after a high-quality save, the resizer adds blank comment data. That does not change the picture. If the portal removes it, the file can fall under the minimum again. Move Aim for to the right and download again. Use a larger pixel size only when the notice allows it, so the JPEG itself is heavy enough.

Other exams are listed on Exam photo and signature size. The resizer stays at /exam-photo-resizer/.

Limits

No official KPSC pixel or KB rule is stated on this page, because none was verified from the Commission’s site on 27 October 2026. Do not treat 200 KB or 70 KB as this site’s instruction. The application window in the corrigendum may already have closed. This page does not promise acceptance.

FAQ

Why is there no one-tap KPSC size?
The Commission’s PDF did not open on the day this page was checked, and a size taken from another website would be a guess. The resizer lets you type the numbers from the PDF you download.
Is 200 KB the KPSC photo limit?
That figure is repeated on other websites about the 31 July 2026 gazetted probationers notification. It was not confirmed from kpsc.kar.nic.in for this page, so it is not a preset.
Which notification should I open?
The one for the post you are applying to. Gazetted Probationers 2026-27 is the recruitment named on the notification list. A different KPSC post can set a different file size.
Will the portal accept a file made here?
Only the Commission’s form can accept or reject it. This tool changes a file on your device. It does not submit an application.
